Why we no longer travel like our parents ?
In the golden age of tourism the travellers (privileged at that time) prepared their journeys carefully. It was a real adventure. One went round the world with big trunks, whilst taking the time to read the descriptions of those who had gone before. One marvelled at each stone whithout ever being separated from the phrase book. Today it’s almost a way of life which has become essential. Often improvised and above all with minimum of formalities.
The guides and travel agencies have given place to a network wher articles, photo reports, videos and commentaries are posted every day every where in the world.
Once more Out of Africa perhaps, but certainly connected !
